Block Google Play Store ads

Got a note 9 three weeks ago. I had 2 severe problems and am contemplating a refund.

Problem 1: Bixby. Two days with online service and it is only partially resolved.

Problem 2: Google Play Store ads pop up ALL THE TIME. I have disabled everything Google related. Tried to download some apps but could not install them. Advice?

The ads are not coming from a Google app, they are coming from some other app you've installed. It's not the fault of the phone or Google...

What is the problem you are having with Bixby?

As far as the ads... like others said, it is something you have installed... I would look over all the apps you have, some apps offer a pro version to remove ads.

To be clear, I solved the Play Store ads problem by disabling or removing all Google apps. No problem since then.
And I see that Samsung is allowing support to remap the Bixby button. I'd like a full uninstall of it but this is progress.

You could try rooting the device. I doubt there's smoothed way to Uninstall Bixby. Or. Just don't use it. It's not intrusive.

I used package disabler pro to disable Bixby.

You could try rooting the device. I doubt there's smoothed way to Uninstall Bixby. Or. Just don't use it. It's not intrusive.

If you root , and can be done only international version not US it would take the ability to use Samsung pay both versions.

You wont be able to uninstall it completely but disable and soon remap it , just like with the Google apps some could be uninstalled and others just disabled.
