What phone do you have?If the stock messaging app does not have that option, many other sms apps do. I have used sms8, textra, and chompsms and they all have that option.

Guess I am just not meant to use this feature as i did all the above and it still does not work :-(

I will redownload it and clear cache and Dalvik before flashing it. I just put 1.7 on yesterday and i always wipe device data and clear cache and Dalvik three times before flashing a new rom. Just out of habbit from the blackberry days. I could never get it to work with the previous build...

Maybe I am flashing it wrong...? I go into recovery and select the install zip file and choose the disable volume zip?

Has anyone else tried to use the patch Disable wake on volume and it does not seem to work....?

does this release have the notification bar like in 1.6.3. If not is there a way to get that in this release. I like having the power bar and the removed recent apps.
