I have also noticed my cell status in the status bar is still active when wifi is on?? Is that contributing too?

I can try. Would leaving it in airplane mode with wifi on help at all?

Hey guys, I have a verizon galaxy s6 edge plus on 6.0.1 marshmallow. I have been fighting battery the whole time I owned this phone. I recently saw some other Edge +'s getting around 5 hours of SOT when I barely manage 2. do I have a defective phone possibly? Thanks
