Got burned with updates on three devices from LG, it's a shame as I like the G7. Does it get monthly security updates? If not.. I'll stay with Sony because they care after you bought their products and I get upates every month. Got a nice offer for a LG G7 plus but worth nothing w/o updates...

no december security patch in germany, too. last one was November 6th and we have 2018 soon. Disappointed.

yeah my V20 is dead. not even baseband I have lol bought a Nokia 6 and have Android 7.1.2 with November 6 th patch. blows my V20 away in terms of speed , not even funny anymore. well done , Nokia everything better ,even sounds better. only camera of my V20 better Nokia 6 ..238 Euro lol...

how do you know that it's a "final production" one ?

V20 runs smoother and cooler now.

don't do memory cards, don't do launchers , force GPU rendering in Apps ( developer settings ) , that's what I learned

The V20 is outdated ( Software ) LG doesn't care anymore. They have V30 , G6 and G6 + now. The V20 gets thrown after you at eBay now ,for little bit money - there is a reason: Can put your V20 in toilet now if you care about security and up2date Operating System - LG is not not for you...

oh and the V30 is selling like hot cake here in germany, one carrier (1&1) is carrying it exclusive. they sold 14 devices already ! Haha, Kindergarten Company, LG.

So what are my / our options? Nokia , Google Pixel, BlackBerry, the rest of the Android can put in toilet, not worth investing ?

Hi, did LG forget about the V20 same my LG mobiles before? That's sad ! Want the latest OS and security ? Go buy one of our latest devices ! The V30 will be forgotten in 6 months also :)

Buy new model if you want 7.1.1 , the V20 is outdated. They throw it after you for 200-250 Euros at eBay now. It;s done ( software wise )

it's NOT about money , I have money, but I feel ripped off. and I love LG but I think it's time to move on. Will be missing a lot of useful features but I want the most important : OS updates
