My co-worker just tested it. The answer, unfortunately, is NO. :( Videos that play fine on the PC cannot be streamed on mobile device via Chromecast. I guess Hulu doesn't have the rights to do so.

Clearly the Chromecast is NOT a mobile device, since it has to be plugged into the back of a TV. Unless people have started walking around with 50" LCT TVs. :D :D :D I'm just wondering if today's update allows the Chromecast to stream shows that Hulu Plus blocked for mobile devices(phones...

He said it's because the Note 3 has 1080p screen, which is "true HD" so the sound will be clear... and dialing will be easier because the dial pad will be easier to see.

He(the VZW manager) said even regular voice calls to other Verizon customers will sound better because of the faster processor.

does it seem like Google has practically abandoned the Chromecast after only a month? No news apps has been released since day one. (which is the date I bought mine) Outside of Android/Google/Chrome forums, I doubt many people even know what a Chromecast is.

I can't wait.... A Verizon Wireless corporate store manager who has played with the Note 3 during training told me that the Note 3 played YouTube videos much faster and the picture looks clearer. He also said with the Note 3, Verizon will now do OTA update just as fast as any other U.S. carrier.

If I ditch my Note to and upgrade to Note 3, will I notice a big improvement in speed or smoothness? (on apps that I use daily, such as Netflix, S-Note, Chrome, Chromecast, Google Maps, TomTom navigation, Spotify)
