You definitely have a rogue program or two, eating up your battery life. May i suggest factory resetting the phone, installing only the apps you need daily and then slowly adding everything back else. You will definitely notice what's causing issues.

Well it's hard to beat the implementation. Hangouts is a royal mess compared to facetime audio/video. Its just there. Hangouts needs a full re-design. The cloud like functionality of telegram and the ease of facetime calling.
