It takes a couple of minutes to sell a game. Trying to do a midnight release for a phone that they would have to activate would be brutal

Good luck to those of you trying to pickup today. In my experience Best Buy systems will not allow the sale before the device release day.

I wouldn't go for the S8 unless it has at least a 5.5 inch screen. Would consider the next note but right now I doubt I would switch. The 7+ is really nice and my wife has an iPhone. It's nice being able to facetime her from anywhere. One thing stopping me from going full iOS is android wear...

Went with a 7+ and back to IOS after 3 years. I'll switch to my backup Nexus 6p when I want an Android fix. There wasn't any other Android phone that interested me.

The Note 7 was a great phone. It had a top of the line camera and display, always on display, water proofing, removable storage and fast wireless and cable charging. I used the S Pen all the time. It also looked and felt great. Nothing else had that combination of features. It's a shame...

Quite happy, back on IOS after 3 years. Miss alot of the features that others have mentioned (always on display. led notification, wireless charging, themes, icons, fast charging, display, spen) but the 7+ is super smooth and the battery is amazing.

Thanks for posting. Will wait a couple of days for the news to trickle down to the stores and return. Not interested in the S7 edge. I'll just wait and see if Samsung reissues the Note 7 again.

Re: Best Buy Returns? I picked up my replacement on 9/21 so I'm just outside of the normal return window of 15 days. If Best Buy ends up allowing returns I'll just return the Note 7 and stick with my backup Nexus 6p.

I could never get the gift card from my first note 7 to work. The same gift card was reissued on the replacement Note 7 and it worked. Entered it as a credit card so I didn't even have to bother with the pin. Used it as a partial payment at a self check out and was able to use another card...

Oh boy. Really don't want to deal with another recall.
