I'm not activating mine there. I'm going out there on lunch Tommorow. I let this screw up today with them go. I will not be dealing with activating my phone there. Not going to happen. I activate and set up my phones myself.

I went to Best Buy and they wouldnt do it. I even asked for a manager and they couldn't do anything. I was polite and expressed how the system shouldnt be saying it's ready for pick up if its not. I received NO GIFT CARD. 
i remember seeing the note4 included on the trade in offer. i'll double check with vzw on my way home.

I hear you guys and I will push for it, but the guy on the phone was pretty insistent. In the grand scheme of things it is no big deal, just another small thing that puts another nail in the coffin for me.

No gift card because you were not Irate enough...LOL... not that I condone that behavior.

Admittedly, I eventually used my "outside voice" today and got a $50 gift card for my troubles. But, legitimately, the store is almost an hour from my house - 2 hours round trip. These kinds of screw ups should have consequences.
Ordered 2 S8 Plus for delivery (Sprint). Both show In Progress... One was delivered today and the other one hasn't shipped. I'd say BB bit off more than they could chew on this release. 30 minutes after UPS delivered the first one, I got a text stating that it had been shipped. Out of curiosity I checked the website. Still shows In Progress.
Hey guys...first post here. Moving on from apple to try out the Galaxy S8 because I wanted to try something new. I pre ordered from Best Buy last Tuesday for in store pick up. Order still shows as processing even though when I ordered it said "Get it by 4/21" so I went into the store today and asked. The guy asked me when I pre ordered and when I told him he said I probably wouldn't get it tomorrow. What kind of BS is that? He said probably ready for pick up on Saturday or Sunday which is only a couple days but I'm nervous about missing on that pre order bonus. I then went into the ATT store next door and they were like oh yeah we have tons of them ready to go tomorrow. Only problem with that is that if I went into the ATT store tomorrow I wouldn't be eligible for the pre order bonus. Guess I just have to be patient

It takes a couple of minutes to sell a game. Trying to do a midnight release for a phone that they would have to activate would be brutal
I pre-ordered in the store to pickup and I just got a call from the store asking what time I would be there tomorrow to pick the phone up. So I guess they are trying to assign people times to come in so they don't get over loaded
Yeah it said "pick up by 4/21" and then on email confirmation I got it said "estimated pickup 4/21"
