I've been through update hell plenty of times with many different phones but this was one of the smoothest and best upgrades I've ever done. Everything works better for once. just throwing it out there for anyone worried.

A T-Mobile model phone with an at&t sim? Won't work... You'll need a T-Mobile SIM to get the update I believe.

Whoa. This would be huge for me. my place of work has 0.0% cell signal and I rely on wifi calling. I was even jerking around with my old GV number getting it in hangouts just in case I do pull the trigger on a pixel 2 but but maybe I won't have to bother.

I've always said if they put out a phone in the exact same physical form as the N5 but with newer insides I'd buy it in a heartbeat. I loved that phone till the very end. My first Nexus experience I guess.

I spoke too soon. Phone is stuttering like crazy again on certain apps. My woman was complaining about Candy Crush. I told her she was imagining things. I installed it on my phone to test and I literally get 1/2 second freezes during the cut scenes and gameplay. It happens often, not just here...

I'm getting much more reliable service with this update. Areas that had no signal are now able to make calls. Had lag in a few games too which is now all but gone. Good update for me.

I got it right away. When AT&T was offering the 50% off NEXT deal. Got the replacement already and it's all good. Let's hope this was a fluke.
