Random reboot problems on G6

[Im Broken]

Wife's G6 was randomly restarting last week. Got progressively worse. Tried a FDR and it helped for less than an hour and finally wont make it past the AT&T logo screen. HERE WE GO!!!! :cheer: she didn't even wash hers everyday like I do so it wasn't water related . Replacement is on the way from AT&T but I wanted to post this in case things start getting funky for others.

Gross. Please let us know what AT&T is able to find out in their investigation into the cause.

Lol what investigation. AT&T will just replace it since it's still under warranty.

That's a problem for sure, but its not a bootloop based on your description.

Good point. I've been using that term generically ever since my G4.

Title should be changed before people get up on their high horses and go full paranoid that the bootloop issue is present then....... no ?

Yes...it should be changed to random rebooting

I got it right away. When AT&T was offering the 50% off NEXT deal.

Got the replacement already and it's all good. Let's hope this was a fluke.
