Yes you are 100% right,i don't think its a problem with setting its just how it works,main stuff like text/calls are fine its things like whats app messages and GMail/eBay/amazon,all are delayed until you unlock the phone. Most people wont even notice it or aint got the notifications turned...

Bluetooth is turned on but not using it,i can see the good in it being you're not talking over each other.

I have just had a Google Pixel 7 pro and I love the phone. The thing is say I'm talking to another person, when i talk it's like the other person is muted until i stop, then they come back. Is this some sort of setting I'm missing. thanks.

I get this all the time on Android phones and i have read a lot of others do as well, iPhone don't seem to have this problem as i have tried it on mine.
