In fact, the Sync Contacts is turned on as well as Sync People details. The only thing I have turned OFF is Sync Chrome.

It is set to sync contacts. That's how I'm able to get the contact when I enter it on the website. It just won't go from the phone to the website.

Ah, need to go into settings then individual settings then select or add the person and set the ringtone and vibration settings to what you want.

From what I understand you would need another app to do the messaging tones. The stock contact only does ringtones. I use Go SMS Pro to assign unique messaging tones to different contacts.

Have you checked the security settings and the owner information?
