Which Nougat features have you found?

I like the dual app feature where you can run two apps at the same time. Just long press the app switch button and your current app will move to the top half of the screen and you can choose a second app to fill the bottom half. Not all apps are compatible with the dual app mode but most are. I...

    Flash light gesture

Yeah, it doesn't make much sense. If you are using your phone and you want the flashlight, you could always have it as one of the quick actions when you pull down the notification shade. A better fix would be to have the gesture be recognized all the time, regardless of what the phone is doing...

    Flash light gesture

From what I understand, the shake gesture to turn on the flashlight only works on the lock screen. So lock your phone, press the lock button to open the lock screen, then shake, the flashlight should turn on. You can shake again to turn it off or press the button on the on screen flashlight to...

    Edit Lock Screen?

A ha!!! That's why I can't get to the settings. I have Lotus Notes Traveler for work (yeah, fun times) and I have to set a password for the lock screen. I think I have to uninstall the Notes app to get the "Swipe to unlock" setting to come back. Thanks for all the replies people.

    Edit Lock Screen?

The problem is in my lock screen settings, I don't have a section called "Clocks & Shortcuts." It's just not there. I'm guessing you have the international version of the OGP? I have no idea why they would remove this control for the US version. The lock screen kinda stinks now because the...

    Edit Lock Screen?

I have the OGP from AT&T in the US and I was wondering if we can edit the lock screen. I've read reviews where people talk about changing the quick access apps at the bottom of the lock screen. In my lock screen settings there is nothing listed about doing this. Am I missing something?

    A few questions about notifications:

The phone screen does light up when getting a text. It doesn't have a preview but you can jump right into the messaging app from the lock screen. You can also assign different tones for your contacts and it has the messaging pop up feature. The pop up feature is nice, I like being able to reply...

LG Optimus G Pro Review from Me (WPCentral Ambassador)

I'm in the exact same situation as you! I've had a Nokia 920 for a while and I just got an Optimus G Pro for work a few weeks ago. I really love the larger screen and the speed. Android is a very interesting mobile operating system. I've owned them all (iPhone user for 4 years, then Windows...

    Disable Home LED by Schedule?

:D Well, I guess that could work but it's not the most elegant solution. I was messing around with NFC Task Launcher and Power Toggles. Both seem to have the ability to toggle the LED light but I wasn't having much luck, anyone able to at least get these apps to turn off the LED? I have some...

    Disable Home LED by Schedule?

Well, I found that the wireless charger for my Nokia 920 works great with my Optimus G Pro. So I have the device, face up, charging next to my bed. It would be great to be able to disable the LED automatically. Hopefully we can figure this out.

    Disable Home LED by Schedule?

I'm brand new to Android, I just got the Optimus G Pro for work last week. I really like the phone so far, it's super fast and has some really great features. One thing I can't figure out is can we disable the home LED according to a schedule? I know there is a "Quiet time" feature but this...

    How to upgrade the keyboard

I'm also new to Android and I really like the Google Keyboard. Just go to the play store, search for it, and install it. The swipe feature works very well and the autocorrect is great too.
