I guess if you live in Alaska you're f***ed. I agree that there should be a way to toggle it. Unless they're turning into Apple's model where everything is restricted with no reasoning behind it other then lazy coders

Dude thanks!!!! I just left the screen out cause I don't care what happens to them at this point but instantly fixed it!!!! I think it's an issue of it somehow getting clogged/plugged up, there for not allowing sound, or really even air out (in my case it would cause pressure and be hard to take...

For me, it happened to be a stupid launcher I installed. When I would disable their notification through their settings, it would hide the slider. So what I ended up doing is turning on their notifications (bringing back their stupid quick toggler), and then held that notification... Clicked...

What I had to do was, install SuperSU... open it, let it install normally... it asked to disable Knox, I allowed it to. It disabled Knox. Then, what I had to do (since restarting wasn't fixing the padlock startup with custom status), I had to boot into recovery mode AFTER setting up SuperSU...
