I'm seeing the same thing on AT&T. I tested my Axon 7 side by side against my wife's iPhone 6 Plus. The signal was usually exactly the same. The biggest difference is the amount of time before the signal changes when you move to a different location.

If it's 299 now imagine how low it will be in Jan 2017.

I just noticed that my signal strength looked really weak, just one bar. I checked it's level and I was at 117dBm. I decided to try a network settings reset. After the reset I was immediately at 105dBM at the exact same spot.

I would like that option but then the on screen and capacitive at the same time would drive me crazy.
