Anyone know if the update improves signal strength? Oftentimes people on the other end of a phone call can't hear me as if my mic is muted when I can hear them just fine. If I could just get that issue put to bed, I'd use this phone for the next 5 or 6 years I love it so much otherwise.

Maybe there will be an easy toggle you can stick a shortcut on the home screen for the on screen buttons. Yeah, wishful thinking I know heheh. Buttons are slightly problematic for me while driving, but honestly 90% of my driving frustrations are due to poor app UI design.

I'm hoping muscle memory makes this a non-issue for me in time. But yeah, also, the buttons are very small. I have small hands so it doesn't bother me, but I imagine someone with bigger hands will have real problems with this.

Nothing wrong with TouchPal I just like Google's better. Easier for me to type on it with fewer mistakes. I haven't exactly analyzed why that is. I'm sure it's a completely subjective deal.

I had this problem the first day I had my phone listening to music and video. It went away completely after a few hours and haven't had a problem since. Guess I got lucky.

How was the installation? Were you concerned about that liquid getting into your speaker grill and ruining the phone? I think I'm going to have to temporarily tape up the speakers before application. Thanks. The tape idea is a good one definitely.

Signal seems comparable to other phones I've had on T-Mobile, which isn't great, but that's due to lack of a T-Mobile tower near my home moreso than the phone itself. When I'm downtown, the signal is great.

IMO very generous warranty plan. Carrier plans charge you a monthly premium + high deductible should you use the warranty. Squaretrade charges an up-front fee and deductible. With this, it's just a deductible, and $80 is a pretty low one at that for a smart phone.

I was worried about this while I waited for my unit to arrive, but I lucked out and got one which has good signal. I would just be ready to RMA or exchange it if you get a lemon.

Best phone I've ever owned! Granted the bar is low because my last phone was a Samsung Avant and before that first gen Moto X lol, but seriously, for $400 this one is a no-brainer. Kudos to ZTE, Huawei and OnePlus for disrupting this overpriced phone market!
