I just upgraded my video card so my PC can play nice with the shield, it'd be even better if I didn't have to buy the shield :)

I use tasker for automation, but trigger for everything nfc, it is great for nfc, simple to use and can program, reprogram and erase the tags. I bought a 10 pack of nfc tags from Amazon, cheaper than the tech tiles, and they with great Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk

To the guys using Chomp, check out Textra, its the new project by the same developers, and it was my favorite client, by far... i think Chomp is going to be abandonded... I took a wild shot on the verizon messages app and was floored when it was actually awesome... so that's my current go to...

I know in handcent there was an option to split group texts up or keep them together, IMO handcent was the most ios like messenger, at least on gingerbread... Shorter, check the menu, there might be an option

It doesn't raise frequencies at all, it just makes them run at full speed, there is no over clocking, the chips are still running at 2.3 ghz, it just turns off all the power saving features. It doesn't do this with anything else because a) nothing needs the full power of the chip to run properly...

While true, Google has been moving to a model that goes around the carriers, the google play services are updated by google and on a regular basis, most of the functionality in Android comes from this and any device post gingerbread uses it (90%+) while it might not be the latest version number...

I switched from gingerbread 2.3, to the 4s, then the I5 and now am switching back to the note 3. Android vs IOS is largely subjective, they have pluses and minuses so you'll have to decide that for yourself. My experience is that IOS is more polished, but Android is significantly more powerful...

QC2.0 requires a chip in both the device and charger, they handshake and allow the higher power charge. Unfortunately the chargers won't be available until 2014

iPhone 5 for me, I flipped to apple after the gnex, I hated the screen and the iPhone had no peer at the time, I had the 4s and 5, tech has changed, apple hasn't and I am ready for a real screen.
