It's kicking my Galaxy Nexus' battery's a$$ big time. And that's impressive, considering I can't put this thing down. But to be fair, the Gnex's battery is nearly two yrs old.

Ordered mine through VivaMovil this eve. $99 is a sweet deal, I only hope everything goes well. First time dealing with a 3rd party. Paid the extra $3 for 3-day shipping, so Tues. I should be rocking the One with the rest of you.

The only other phone on my radar is the still to be announced Nexus 5 w/Key Lime Pie. But since VZW passed on the last Nexus(lack of LTE), I'm not holding my breath this going to be an option anyway. So, I'm still waiting on the One.

I know what you mean about not knowing what to do. But I'm pretty confident we'll see 4.2.2 out of the box. But I believe Verizon/HTC should sweeten the pot for us VZW hold-outs, by rewarding our nearly 6 mo. wait for this device by throwing in the upgraded S800 processor too.

At this rate, There is nothing "new" about it anymore. Can't have anything upstaging their precious Droids.

Were you able to see if it was running 4.2.2?

The 15th is the date I'm eligible for my upgrade, so it's still all good. I still have fingers crossed we'll see 4.2.2 out of the box.
