Just a quick update. I bought the Anker QC3 car adapter from amazon and it works. My Note9 is now quick charging. Really burns me Samsung changed something that made their car chargers useless. Thank you strikeIII for the suggestion for the car charger!

It should since it is the Samsung charger that fast charges my wifes S8+.
