drivers i can't stand drivers... when i first did this, everything seemed to work but recently, the driver update/install status seems to fluctuate. is it known why this information can go in and out or seem to simply disappear?

Fixed! i tried that but what worked was updating the HTC Sync and leaving it in that mode when connecting it to the comp. thanks for the quick help though!

trouble i can't seem to "mount" my device. i direct the comp to the tools folder using the command line but the remount doesn't work and even "adb devices" shows no device listed. i am pretty sure i am rooted properly as i am able to reboot into recovery, flash roms, etc... any suggestions?

i officially jacked something up in my attempt to flash the sprint hero 2.1 lite ROM. i flashed successfully and rebooted but the phone is stuck in a reset cycle only stopped by removing the battery. cmd line doesn't even recognize the device. what did i do and what can i do now? any ideas?
