I unchecked "Best Wi-Fi Performance" and that solved the problem. Thanks for your help.

No category like that on my phone.

My phone is Verizon's HTC Incredible 4G LTE. When I have Wifi enabled, and connect to it (such as at my home), then go out of range, my phone does not automatically switch to using data. It stays stuck on Wifi (it says it is connected to my home network even when I am 30 miles away at work)...
