I am STILL having this issue since an update around Thanksgiving. Turning off lock screen notifications does not help. The app says there is an update, but it won't update. I can't disable it entirely. Someone needs to fix this! There was another Android update yesterday and it's still...

Update -- There was a Textra version upgrade April 27 and that seems to have fixed the problem. It has not happened since. Version 3.19 now.
