Textra Not Responding on Galaxy S7, is anyone else experiencing this?

Textra "Not Responding" on Galaxy S7

I have issues daily with Textra freezing, then getting error message "Textra is not responding." This only started when I upgraded to the Galaxy S7. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but it's no better. Is anyone else experiencing this? I can't find where it has been reported to Textra at all.

Welcome to Android Central! Have you already tried going to the App Manager, selecting Textra, and Clearing Cache/Data?

Yes! Incredibly frustrating. This is the first time I have found anyone experiencing the issues. Textra seems to have no idea it is no longer working.

Crazy. Textra works great on my s7. Maybe try Doing a reset? Even know it's a pain

It was horrible when I got my s7, I just ended up using the stock app. My messages weren't coming through correctly at all. Could do a hard reset but mine was acting weird as soon as I downloaded it

Works fine for me. Maybe the carrier has something to do with it. I'm on T-Mobile.

Update -- There was a Textra version upgrade April 27 and that seems to have fixed the problem. It has not happened since. Version 3.19 now.
