With the most recent updates to the TabS7+ you can no longer get into the recovery menu by hitting power and volume up. Even the suggestion of attaching it to a PC and trying it does not work . Any ideas?

I use power saving mode too. Way easier on the battery and still get location benefits.

I do have it turned on. I use power saving mode though. Does not seem to kill my battery in any major way. I use the Google opinion app though and I like certain location features so I keep it on.

I finally figured out what was killing my battery after the update! The always allow scanning for WiFi was on and is now in a different location. It is now under Settings/location/Improve Accuracy. Switching it off made a huge difference.

Kelly Kearns, are you on auto brightness? Any power saving modes? Google Now on/off? Location services on?
