I just bought my S7 a fgew days ago. All of the text messages were transferred over, and now the lockscreen shows that I have 427 text messages waiting for me. Is there some way to clear or reset this counter?

Well, I had just downloaded Play from the Google App store, so I'm sure it was the latest version. But oddly enough, after 5 days of scratching my head over this, it just started working this morning. No explanation. Perhaps it *was* updating Play or something, I dunno. Weird. But thanks...
