I habitually lock the phone with the power button. I think there is a setting someplace that allows picture taking even when locked.

I also do not like the way android deals with downloaded music. I have tried several apps and I now use Doubletwist. It functions OK, but I lost all the functions on the headphones and volume rockers that I had on BB10.
