Lovely. So yeah, Im at a complete loss as to whats up. Can take texts, can take emails, but somehow speech to text is a no go. And unless some big documented change happened in literally the last 72 hours....wtf.

Fair enough. But hell, I was using the Gear S2 several years back before I got the Gear S3 and never had this issue. I guess if I reset the watch I'll have to redownload all my watch faces?

Tried that earlier today. Again, it works like normal except for the fact that it can't do my speaking to the watch for a text. Not sure what would be the point of keeping the app/watch working normally but messing up one thing, unless its a not-figured foul up.

Wifi, 4/5g, either way, it just gives me a network error when trying to do speech to text. Again, nothing new today, no downloads, etc I can think of. I can still get texts on it, and emails, this literally just happened today, or maybe yesterday, so I have no idea WTF.

Im on Verizon. And this literally happened today. On a Ultra 22. It connects fine, but every time I try doing a speech to text through the watch, it says network error.

I can still receive texts, emails, etc, and am connected on 4/5 G and Bluetooth, but every time I try doing as of today a speech to text throught watch, it says network error, and connect to a network.

I figured. Charging wired doesn't cause as much of a heat build up. Im guessing either I just get used to wired charging again, or get a different case. I just have tended to get Otterbox due to my paranoia, despite the fact that I can count on barely 2 hands the number of times I've badly...

My phone temp goes from like low 80s at rest to 100+ doing this! Im guessing the Otterbox Defender really keeps that heat in huh? My Note 8 with a Otterbox on wireless didnt have that issue!

Just wondering. I have mine in a Otterbox and a screen protector, but as Im coming up from a Note 8, I am shocked at the camera section. Just wondering if I need some extra protection for that area barring the raised section on the case.

As someone who's been using Otterbox for ages, and now has to deal with there not being case/screen protector combos for a while from Otterbox, just wondering whats some better suggestions out there, or just stick with the Otterbox and get a Screen protector seperate as Im still doing on my Note 8?

Wouldnt know how to do that, and wouldn't wanna mess anything up.

How much longer will the Note 20 work though? Security andall that?

So I have a Note 8, which is starting to die-5 years old after all. Im just wondering, Note 20 or Galaxy 22 Ultra? One is gonna cost more than the other that for sure.

I have a Note 8, and will need a new phone soon enough, in part cause mine is now 4+ years counting the year or more someone owned it before me. I know the 20 is the last Note, and I've been also suggested if I like Notes to go with the Galaxy 22...so....thoughts?
