If you are going to keep it several years, future updates will fill up the free memory. In fact, the new S9 will probably already come with the Pie update. I think $80 will be a decent cost to "future proof" the new S9.

Anker is a respected name, I'm considering getting one myself. I would only note that you have a lot of devices, and the laptop is a major load. Maybe two chargers would be good.

I can't see any "light leak" on mine. Of course, I'm 70 years old. LOL The two glaring things I do see is the "Apps Edge" pullout menu on the right, and the "Samsung Pay" ad that periodically appears on the bottom. But those are not panel problems.
