Thanks to all who have replied to my querie. I have scoured the internet and no one seems to have experienced the same problem. So for the moment thanks again and if I do find an answer or method to trace the cause I will post it here. John

A good point. However, 2 days capacity in the Uk and 4 days in Greece is a significantly big difference. What do most people get out of a fully charged Sam S22 in the UK.?

Thanks Laura and B. Diddy, Very useful link. In House the signal is poor so Wi-Fi calling is preferred and works well. External network signaI is adequate for a rural location. Will have to wait for next year to test Greece. (Good excuse to go again). My thoughts turn to the network...

Interesting point. We very rarely use any smart features preferring to use a iPad for those facilities. We are old fashioned and just use our phones for messaging, and not many of those. I think something is going on in the background but I can’t trace what. Strange that it does not...
