Galaxy watch has been out for a bit, I added a stainless steel band and bezel to match. Makes all my apple watch wearing friends jealous! I can see an easy 2-3 years before I think of an upgrade.

What Samsung developer programs are you part of? What app store, Google or Samsung exclusivity, or can you find support in both app stores if Samsung is no help? Not to over inquire, but why do you need their permission if your app is compatible?

If that were my device, I wouldn't tolerate that! Baring it did not get wet and I had backed up my data and reset it once for luck, I would also deduce the fact it is 2.5 years old and justify a new shiny upgrade :)
