I'm on the fence about this one. Never been a huge fan of Samsung bloat, but like the idea of the Focus app and love the hardware.

I think I might have solved it ... fingers crossed. Deleted the car from my phone and the phone from my car, rebooted the phone into safe mode and then added it back in and rebooted the phone. Five hours later, it worked fine.

I have a new BT issue that's driving me nuts. It has suddenly developed and seems to have occurred since the January security patch (although I can't be sure it wasn't slightly after). My Moto Z had no problem connecting to my car audio (stock 2016 BMW) over BT giving me metadata and track...

Have to say thiss is a fabulous mod. I don't use if most days because I can always plug my phone in while I'm in the office if I need to. But, when I'm on the road all day ... this is perfect. Not too heavy, not too thick, but lots of power.

Those "coasters" look awesome. That would be great to have on my desk at the office (and advertising for this site!).

Been away from Sammy phones since my Galaxy SII ... but this looks pretty cool and maybe it's time for another Samsung phone.

I wanted one that integrates exchange contacts with the phone and I don't think Type does that. I'm using Mail wise and am pretty satisfied.

Actually, it's not really a lack of apps that caused me to move from WP to the G3. It was more the delay in apps. Everything you want or need is ultimately available in WP ... just not often enough at the leading edge for me. As above, the thing that tipped the scales for me is the better...

I like Textra a lot, but it doesn't work with Agent's Drive Mode and that's a deal breaker. Currently playing with AwSMS which was mentioned earlier in the thread (thanks for the tip). Pretty good looking app, although some bug fixes are desperately needed and an update is due this week.

Also a WP8.1 refugee (Lumia 920/1020) and for the most part, I miss Windows Phone. It simply is a much better UI than anything offered up by Android or Apple. However, my experience is just the opposite... the G3 integrates with my car so much better than WP8.1. Part of it is just the design of...
