I have a new BT issue that's driving me nuts. It has suddenly developed and seems to have occurred since the January security patch (although I can't be sure it wasn't slightly after).
My Moto Z had no problem connecting to my car audio (stock 2016 BMW) over BT giving me metadata and track control, etc. I used the phone based Android Auto app to automatically launch on BT connect and then select my playback source (Spotify, PlayerFM, Tune In, etc) from the phone. All worked fine both under MM and with Nougat. Now, it connects and starts AA on the phone, but when I start playback I get no sound and no metadata. If I reboot the phone and then stop my car and restart it, it works fine for a few hours and then the same problem crops up.
Any thoughts?
