@OP, over WiFi you can still make calls and send texts using different apps. Things like Skype, which is free to call other Skype accounts. Not sure how important to you that would be, but in all reality you do not have to lose any functionality by turning off carrier service to the phone.

Trident Aegis (my current case) works, as well as the Seidio Surface case. There was a slight crack in the one side of the Seidio case where it did not fully snap together, but I am not sure if that was due to the extended battery or not.

Lol, I was just fixing to post here that I have an almost brand new (used for a couple of weeks but no signs of use) Defender case for sale. I bought the Trident Aegis and love it. So if two people need a Defender case PM me as well as Mbar :)

I have Android OC and have it set to use custom/advanced settings. My phone is OC'd and undervolted to save battery. It does make a difference, but mostly when the phone is on standby, not so much when it is in use (for battery life). Every phone/cpu is different so my settings may not work for...

Buy from a trusted seller, make sure the card is new, and make sure it a an OEM card from a well known manufacturer. Do NOT buy a generic. Kingston, PNY, Sandisk are about the top 3 sd card manufacturers. You may also check out Amazon...I have been looking there and the deals have been better...

I actually have both apps and use them. I use QuickClock to calculate my lowest voltage and highest speed (for voltage, you can usually go two volts below what QCA specifies) and then plug this into Android Overclock custom/advanced settings. I had my DX running at 1.2ghz at 62 volts just fine...

Very strange...not sure what to tell you there. But, another way to clear the stats is use the app Battery Calibration

I don't use tethering at all (I have free wifi anyways), but every indication I have heard is that none of the tether apps were working on GingerBread? Or that if one did work, it just brought up 3G Hotspot and warned that you would have to pay. If you have one working though more power to you.

You may also want to try and run RSD as 'administrator'. Right click on the icon and seclect 'run as administrator' and see if this helps. I have heard reports of people using an older version of RSD (4.7?) with success.

Soundlike you had a bad download. I used the part 1 and 2 files with no issues at all. BUT...I have had ROMs download and be corrupt before, which is why I always browse the .zip folder on my computer before trying to flash it. If you can open the .zip and look at the contents on your computer...
