If yoy got the money, I'd say get the Moto X dev edition. Closest thing to a Nexus you'll see on VZW. I have the S4, but with the current updates, there's little to no chance of the bootloader getting unlocked. The only custom ROMs have to use the stock kernel. Sent from your mom's smartphone
