Is maps installed as a system app? If you're rooted, you can uninstall it completely and install 6.14(or whatever the last version was).
Until they make the option to avoid tolls a sticky, I'm not updating it. I live a mile from a toll way, and anywhere I try to go, it'll automatically select the toll way and I have to go into options and select avoid tolls.
