Any news as to if/when the original M7 Play Edition (stock android) will get the Marshmallow update? If it won't get the update has Google or HTC said why not? The phone is more than capable and all other stock devices dating back to the Nexus 5 have received their updates.

That's not a bad idea, although I've never sold a phone before. My fear is someone getting some personal information from my phone after I let it go. Probably silly but, still...never done it before so I'm pretty cautious.
