strange,i dont know what I did but I am currently on the home screen of my phone... its very unresponive and still in airplane mode. I can see my apps, see the date..cant apppear to use the drop down menu.

its back in regular mode, but airplane mode it also back on... sooo annoying!

yeah i am not sure sinice it put itself into airplane mode.I am guessing it did it while I had a static screen

OK, so i have it in safe mode but it appears at some point it also went into airplane mode. What should I try now that it is in safe mode

No drops or anything recently. The screen has been intermintly flickering for some time, I just thought it was due to the age of the phone. I havent downloaded anything that may have corrupted it. If I cant get it powered into safe mode do you have any other suggestions? appreciate the replies

what do you mean, power and volume buttons? and yes, you read it correctly. I cant press any of my pin, nor use my fingerprint. The date is also inorrect (it say march 2) sadly i dont have much of anything backed up.

I think my pixel 2 is dead, or dying. I have had it since launch. It is currently giving me the static screen, I can tap it and bring it to awake, but then it wont let me input my pin ( WHEN i try to hit the buttons I need nothing happens) I have tried to reboot it using power but that didnt...

So like a moron I didn't have a case on my pixel 2 all this time and today at work it happens, whack, a part I was making smashes the lower bottom of my screen, by the circle in the middle and the square. Are there any rugged cases that will cover this and prevent it from happening again?
