Weird. I only see mine when I'm on the home screen and only for the messages app.

I'm having this problem too! It's very weird. I was at Walmart and used my S3 frontier and it accepted it, entered my PIN and then it said declined. Had to pull out my card and manually do it.

The new pill shape notification in the UI, does that only show up on the home screen?

I DM'd TMobile on Twitter and the guy who responded said his is the same and that it only affects the S8+. He only suggested I wait for the software update.

My S8 has pink on the edges and also across the top of the screen. I realize that AMOLED displays have pinkish hues when looking from a certain angle but I'm wondering if this is the same thing or not. My co-worker has an S8 and his display does not have this.

Yes. I may revisit the phone. It's really great. Perhaps the new EMUI that's coming out will help make things a bit more cohesive and squash a few bugs.

OP - did you try adding your 'At Bat' app to the 'protected apps' in battery manager? I was having some trouble with notifications and that seemed to help. In fact, I was having a weird issue with Android Auto and I think the phone was repeatedly trying to kill the app.

I found the setting. It's under "Fingerprint ID".

Detroitborgs video shows a feature I can't seem to replicate. He slides his finger down the fingerprint sensor and the notification screen comes down. Mine doesn't seem to do that.
