We advice that you look at getting a case for your 8. There are great options on sites like Amazon and NewEgg. If your notifications are fickle we advise shutting off your device for 15-20 seconds and then turning it back on. This should refresh your device. We can't speak on third-party applications since we're just the manufacturer. If some apps from the Google Play Store aren't working, we advise contacting the app's customer service team. Please keep in mind that WiFi calling is carrier specific. We advise contacting your service provider if you wish to learn more about WiFi calling. (ED)
