I don't think Dolby Atmos is something you can get on the S8 with our without root since it's more of a hardware issue than a software issue. (Open to correction though :P)

Have you tried uninstalling all updates, clearing cache, then reinstalling updates?

If there is any sort of impact on battery life, it is so minuscule that it is irrelevant. :)

I believe you hold the volume up button and power button at the same time.

I have a 2011 MacBook Pro that I was hoping use SideSync with my new SO. Unfortunately it seems like SideSync is discontinued. I believe Samsung is working on something for the future but it would be nice to be able to mirror my phone somehow on my MacBook Pro. Thanks in advance!!!

Absolutely love my S9. The last Android device I had was the Galaxy S3. The only thing I am still trying to figure out is a good way to streamline with my MacBook. I was hoping SideSync would still be active but now looking for something similar.
