Got it fixed! I just changed the DPI to 272 and left it like that, now since that extra hotseat space is gone, the icons don't disappear. All good here! :)

Wow, that's like starting from square one. I already have it fixed, there was a problem with Philz Recovery, nightlies don't work with that specific recovery. I flashed CWM Recovery and then installed the nightly, worked 100%. Now i can update with ease... :)

I don't use launchers, I have a GS3, and I changed the DPI through a system file. Also I do have the Google Now Launcher pre-installed on my phone, should I try uninstalling it to see if it works!? UPDATE: uninstalled and the problem still occurs.

Seems weird, every time I reboot or shutdown my phone one of my hot seat icons seems to disappear. Started happening more frequently after changing the standard DPI of the phone. Any help, it may be caused by an app!?
