Yeah I asked there, no luck. Looks like I have to factory reset, which is annoying, but probably the best option right now. oh well. (edit) So just got the April security patch over wifi, and Bamm! everything works again! YAY!)

So all of a sudden today I lost all internet/LTE capabilities on my PH-1! And I can't edit or add a new APN due to the apn settings being greyed out. And there's no add new APN option either. Tried using my SIM from my Pixel 2, no dice. Tried rebooting w/o SIM inserted, nope. This is frustrating...

Yay! Installing now! :) I just pressed THE button and Bam! there it was. coming from 8.1 beta. Didn't really have any of the main issues that a lot of people were having, besides some reception loss every now and then. Pretty damn smooth. Probably gonna be even smoother with official!

Totally bizarre. And the little house appeared next to the 3 dots in the upper right, but now it's back to the icon you have in your screenshot GsDer.

So my google feed isn't working at all as of a couple hours ago. Just says, "unable to reach your feed at the moment". It's definitely not my internet or phone data connection. And it seems to have changed, there's a search bar at the top of the feed and a little house icon. Was not like that...

I hav the Pixel 2(non xl) as my main phone and then I have the Essential that I use for testing apps, Beta and whatever. The PH-1 is a total sleeper imo, I'm not sure too many people understand this phone and the potential it has. Currently has a few issues, but nothing to make me want to trade...

Still haven't received this update. Not really into sideloading just a security patch. Any other way to push it through? My Essential got it on the 5th! (definitely not that google services framework option! Don't know why that is even still a thing)

With Beta 2 a week old and Essential saying final release before the new year, Do you think we'll actually be getting it by Sunday? I'm on beta 2 and it's looking promising. Fingers crossed!

So, still no update here. Even tried sideloading, didn't let me. Got a message saying the file had expired and is no longer available! WTH! I followed the adb protocol for the Oreo 8.1 instructions exactly and it still denied me. anybody know what that's all about?? ugh.....! Maybe I'll just...

Still no update. Thought these phones were supposed to get super quick updates! My friend who got his GP2 through VZ the same day i got mine, got his OTA update the afternoon of the 5th.

Ok, I'm going to try sideloading again in the morning. Can someone who has done the sideload sucessfully tell me step by step what I need to do, like what to type in the adb so I don't get a bunch of flak from my idiotic Macbook Pro. Thanks :)

I still don't have the update, kinda frustrating cause I'm seeing all these other Pixel peeps getting it. I tried sideloading from my Macbook Pro and got a message on the phone that said.." ERROR-This device is not campatible and cannot complete request" Which is weird, cause I sideloaded 8.0...
