It depends and phone you have and what apps you want... I use tasker a lot and with root you have full benefit. The big thing with 6.0 is app permissions.

This was a bug at 5.1 but I thought in 5.1.1 it was fixed. Maybe of clearing the cashe doesn't work a factory reset probably will solve the bug

Maybe find the apk that drains your battery? In battery settings what statistics is showing to you?
