If you create a desktop link on your mobile is it possible to change the desktop link picture so that it's something that makes more sense than the link you downloaded

When I download a wallpaper for my phone and try to set it as the home screen it only let's me pick a square part of it ...is there anyway to get the whole picture set as the wallpaper.. Thank you for your help Posted via the Android Central App

I'm using Android 5.0 and TSF launcher but I've also got the Google Launcher and when I press the home button it doesn't launch Google Now I've tried my stock launcher I've got an LG G3 and it still won't take me to Google Now Posted via the Android Central App
