When I bought my phone there they said they don't actually sell the phones outright. That's just a total cost (with financing) figure. I don't think they sell to non-Verizon subscribers. Your options are two-year contract, if you're still on an old plan, or monthly installments with discount...

Re: Wifi Assistant Disabled by Verizon I am running NDE63P and side-loaded the latest version of Assistant. I still don't have the option. Are you saying we need to wait for verizon to unblock it themselves?

Re: Wifi Assistant Disabled by Verizon It doesn't show up in searches for us, and manually going to the store page produces the results I mentioned in the OP. Side-loading the application makes no difference.

Re: Wifi Assistant Disabled by Verizon Is yours locked with a Verizon SIM in it? play services at 9.8.77, opening pay does nothing. The online version of the play store says that the app isn't allowed by my carrier, and I believe the app is required for the feature.

Re: Wifi Assistant Disabled by Verizon The rep did think it might be a conflict with Wifi calling (didn't confirm it though) which would make sense with the whole VPN element. She also said it might be added back in with a future patch but didn't confirm that either.

[UPDATE] The feature is being pushed to phones, when it is pushed to your phone you'll likely see a notification asking if you want to turn the feature on. Original post follows... I purchased my phone from Verizon this morning and noticed that Wifi Assistant is not listed as an option in Wifi...
