that is exactly what i did with my bb bold 9000....then when i got the n1 i synced to my gmail or gvoice and wham, everything in the phone....very easy to do and one of the great features of having a google phone

i was going to switch to verizon when the n1 came out....now i am staying with att and will buy the n1....the reason is because of gmail and sync.. can anymore confirm that the incredible does not do gmail and sync, google voice, etc?
