I'm going to have to either break down and take it to get fixed or hope it holds out til January when I can get a new phone. I'm afraid what it might cost to repair.

Nope still getting hot. I wonder if it could be the battery (not sure where the battery is.... Like I said, it's only the top half getting hot).

Yeah this isn't with charging it's with use and it happens fairly quickly when I start using the phone. And it gets hot. [emoji17]

I know no one answered but as a follow up.... They paid it. It's a good idea to have a credit card with cell phone protection (I have a Wells Fargo Credit Card)... I just have to pay my cell phone bill with the credit card and all phones on my plan are covered. The phone cost $400 to repair and...

Has anyone had luck having a credit card (that offers cell phone protection) pay the submitted claim?

I only had my phone since January of this year. A few weeks ago the screen protector started getting weird at the fold (like bubbles). I took it off and replaced it with a screen protector I bought on Amazon. We don't have a samsung store nearby and I really didn't want to send it back to them...

I bought the phone in January so I have a few months left.
