yes the phone is fine for using modded roms. HTC is going to update de phone to 2.1, they just need to adapt Sense UI to it, its a matter of weeks im guessing at this point.

I was thinking of adding my contacts on Google but doesn't it give them the right to view them, its like giving my friend's personal info to them. It's great as a backup, I donno, I'm hesitating.

Sometimes i don't use my phone much and im able to use the battery for a whole 2 days. However sometimes, i have to reboot my phone because when i open my browser, my access is denied to the internet.. port 80 is blocked. Upon reboot, everything is fine. so, is this issue phone or network related?

Happened to me too, did you make your ringtones yourself? Cuz this happened to me when I made my own. All I did though was re-render the mp3 file and it worked

Well i thought i just had a bad Hero but i got 4 dead pixels too.. its barely noticable, you only really see them when the hole screen is black (mostly when opening the phone)

So yeah, with TELUS and the Hero, we only have access to 3G but sometimes I see the 3G switch to H. Anyone know what it means?

i have a skin that protects the back, its made of rubber, its really good imo

well alot of people dont buy the phones for the cameras, i know i dont care my hero doesnt have flash

they don't share the same name and the look of the phone is different, i doubt they will match, they will simply say its not the same phone.
