The Dec update kind of fixed the issue. It crashes once and when reconnected works for some time. I used it on a 13 hr drive and it crashed thrice, but managed to make it work. It's still a pain especially when driving on crowded roads in India.

No updates pending. And in the app, I tried both with the updated screen enabled and disabled. No difference. The app crashes after a few minutes of usage.

Android Auto keeps crashing after the latest update. It starts off and after 15 or mins, it crashes. I then have to disconnect the cable and try again after which it'll work for another 5 mins. It's dangerous while driving and is bugging the hell out of me. I've tried Android Auto on my Mate...

Google Play Music is bare bones and doesn't come with an equalizer unless the phone has one. Trying out different players. Currently using JetAudio+ as I had the paid version for it years back. Audio quality is really good.

The 3 buttons are still the quickest and most efficient way to navigate. I do like the Android Q gestures, but I would have preferred seeing the old OnePlus gestures and the Android Pie gestures as well. I know it's asking for too much, but yeah... Everyone wants more.

Using the 7T pro. No problems with this, but am using the stock charging cable provided by OnePlus. The phone rebooted during one of my drives, but otherwise no issues.

Yeah.. the Adaptive brightness is very aggressive and tends to the lower side. I had to switch it off. I also see that using Microsoft launcher really shows down the home action. The screen goes blank for a while. I want number notifications which isn't supported in one plus launcher

Enjoy the OnePlus. The pic quality in Mate10 Pro is still better than the OnePlus7 in my checks. I'm also used to themes and fonts which surprisingly aren't possible on the OnePlus. Guess a heavily skinned Android is what I can live with

First time I've seen this on a Mate 10 Pro. Hope you've moved on to a different phone and notified Huawei about this.
