I had a droid turbo 2 repaired at a ubreakifix shop near me and found them to be very reasonable. Had a charge port and battery replacement done not a screen but may be worth checking with them if they are local to you.

It's gone on both my Turbo 2 and Samsung S7 so it's not a moto specific issue. Just wait for the assistant update.

How are you attempting to connect? My understanding is that the S7 is not MHL compatible (Samsung stopped supporting connections to HDMI via the USB port beginning with the S6).
